University of Ostrava

The University of Ostrava offers modern medical education at a comparatively accessible cost in the Czech Republic’s third-largest city. Medical Doorway is the university’s authorised and exclusive representative.

Established in 2010, the Faculty of Medicine is the youngest medical faculty in the Czech Republic. It has quickly developed around current teaching methods and access to one of the country’s largest hospitals.

The Medicine programme is aimed at academically strong students seeking high-quality European medical education at a more accessible cost than some better-known destinations. Students benefit from access to one of the Czech Republic’s largest hospitals. Eligible graduates can apply to the General Medical Council (GMC), subject to the requirements in force when they qualify.
