University of Nicosia

The University of Nicosia offers English-taught Medicine and Veterinary Medicine in the Cypriot capital. Medical Doorway is an official representative and provides eligible applicants with free support from initial assessment to enrolment.

The university has built a modern health-education environment around international teaching and a purpose-designed campus. Every medical student joins the Medical School Students’ Society, creating a defined community alongside the wider university.

Options include six-year Medicine, a five-year graduate-entry Medicine pathway and five-year Veterinary Medicine. Teaching and assessment are in English. Students can also take part in community service providing healthcare support to local communities, refugees and people in remote parts of Cyprus.

Students live and study in Nicosia, at the heart of Cyprus. Purpose-built student residences are guaranteed and include amenities such as restaurants and a swimming pool. Eligible students may also be considered for scholarships of up to 20%.

Medical Doorway determines initial eligibility, coordinates the application and helps shortlisted candidates prepare for an online or in-person interview. Our support is funded by the university and is free to applicants.
