Masaryk University offers Medicine, Dentistry and a foundation route from a modern medical campus in Brno. The combination of contemporary facilities and life in a major student city makes it a popular Czech option.

Founded in 1919 and named after Czechoslovakia’s first president, T. G. Masaryk, the university is the second largest in the Czech Republic. Its newer Faculty of Medicine campus reflects the university’s continued investment in healthcare education.

Students can study six-year Medicine or five-year Dentistry, with a foundation programme available for those who need additional preparation. Eligible graduates can apply to the General Medical Council (GMC) or General Dental Council (GDC), as appropriate.

The purpose-built medical campus is connected by bridge to a large shopping centre and has substantial on-site student accommodation. Central Brno is a short tram or bus journey away, with low-cost student travel permits available. Brno is known for its architecture, cafés, theatres and student life, and has air and rail connections to Prague and other European cities.
