Humanitas University

Humanitas University is a private medical university near Milan, built around an integrated teaching and hospital campus. Medical Doorway officially represents the university and supports eligible applications free of charge.

Established in 2014, Humanitas has quickly developed a reputation for modern medical education. Its purpose-built, 42,000-square-metre campus continues to expand and includes a major clinical simulation centre alongside the Humanitas hospital network.

Students can choose Medicine and Surgery or the interdisciplinary MEDTEC programme, which qualifies students as doctors while adding biomedical engineering, big data and artificial intelligence. Practical education takes place within Humanitas hospitals. Eligible graduates can apply to the General Medical Council (GMC), subject to the requirements in force when they qualify.

The self-contained campus outside Milan includes accommodation, restaurants, sports facilities and green space. Milan offers extensive cultural and professional opportunities, three airports and easy access to northern Italy, the Alps and Lake Como.

Admission to Medicine is determined by the online HUMAT, normally offered in February and March; candidates may sit both sessions to maximise their opportunity. The MEDTEC test takes place separately, normally in April. A limited number of scholarships are available. Medical Doorway coordinates applications free of charge and gives every applicant free access to Italy Med Prep.
