About University of Hertfordshire
Overview
The University of Hertfordshire offers international students a modern MBBS experience on a dedicated campus just north of London. It is home to the UK’s 44th medical school, a modern and inclusive institution, and Medical Doorway supports international applicants to the programme.
History
Hertfordshire is home to one of the UK’s newest medical schools. Its MBBS was developed with input from St George’s, University of London and practising healthcare professionals to reflect current clinical practice.
Courses and careers
The MBBS combines academic teaching with practical preparation and access to one of Europe’s largest and most advanced clinical simulation centres. The curriculum, informed by practising healthcare professionals, and the university’s emphasis on diversity, inclusion and equity help students prepare for work in the UK or internationally.
Setting
The campus is around 25 minutes by train from London King’s Cross, balancing campus life with access to the capital. All medical students are guaranteed on-campus accommodation for the full duration of the MBBS, providing continuity and convenience during their studies.
