Outreach Visits to Harrow school and TASIS in London

As the most trusted organisation advising on European medical education, we recently found ourselves offering outreach at two of the UK’s most prestigious schools. On Friday 26th April we were taking part in the European Applications Training Day held at Harrow School, London. This event brought heads of sixth form and university guidance counsellors together. A seminar was followed by a “speed-dating” event. This enabled those in attends to get some time with the Medical Doorway team. A university fair followed to allow students from Harrow and local schools to find out more about medical studies.

On Monday 29th April we were invited to TASIS England to present and take part in their university fair. Over five-hundred students and parents were in attendance from this exclusive American school and schools from the area. During this event we partnered with St. George’s University London. A seminar to aspiring doctors was followed by one to one counselling with students and their families.

We are being invited into a record number of schools this year. In May, we will be back visiting schools in Hong Kong and Jakarta. Our outreach aim, is to constantly inspire students to pursue medical education in the UK, Europe and Caribbean.
